1. What Stackdeck is
Stackdeck is a price-comparison and shopping tool for trading-card-game players. We aggregate publicly available listings on eBay and reference pricing from other marketplaces to help you find the cheapest available cards on a decklist. We are an independent participant in the eBay Partner Network and may receive a referral fee from eBay when you complete a purchase via a link from our site.
2. What Stackdeck isn't
We are not a marketplace, a financial institution, or an inventory holder. We do not buy, sell, ship, or hold cards. All purchases happen on the marketplace where the listing originates (typically eBay). All transactions, payments, refunds, and disputes are between you and the seller, governed by that marketplace's terms.
3. Pricing and availability
Prices and inventory shown on Stackdeck are pulled live from third-party APIs and represent the data those services returned at the time of the search. Prices change frequently; a card may sell out, get relisted, or change price between when you view a listing and when you attempt to purchase. We make no guarantee that any specific price or listing will be available.
4. Affiliate disclosure
Stackdeck participates in the eBay Partner Network. When you click a link to eBay from our site and complete a purchase, eBay may pay us a small referral commission. This has no effect on the price you pay. The prices we display are the prices the eBay sellers list, unmodified by us.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Stackdeck to violate any law or any third-party marketplace's terms.
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute the data Stackdeck displays without permission.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions.
- Use Stackdeck for purposes other than personal shopping for trading-card-game cards.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Stackdeck is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no promises about uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stackdeck and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including, but not limited to, failed purchases, missed listings, or pricing errors.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Onondaga County, New York.
